It is speculated that Speharial's Master Key was crucial in Gann achieving his success with his number theories. It should be known that theosophcal movement at the turn of the century and its leading contriutors like Blavatsky and Sepharial must have had huge influence on the mindscape in esoteric sciences. Gann cannot have been immune to that. Sepharial is also largely reputed to have very good success in predicting the financial markets, though he himself was not a trader.

Tunnel Thru' The Air - Book
The most enigmatic of all the Gann works have to be Tunnel Through the Air, a short semi-autobiographical novel by Gann.
The novel is steeped in controversy with followers giving every turns and events a new and colorful meaning. It is perhaps what Gann intended. Gann in his foreword says "Tunnel thru the air is mysterious and contains a valuable secret". This has vertiably opened pandora box of interpretations - most of them biblical, astrological and numerological. Nothing has been left unturned by decades of work by people trying to uncloak the valuable secret. Even the book jacket is subject of much speculation.
Honestly, I have not gone deep into its study from the perspective of uncovering any treasures but as a good novel.
In my interpretation if there is one secret(?) that I have uncovered is that: to be a successful trader you need to have a clean and innocent heart. Everything originates from a point, and that point does not lie outside of the trader but within him. This in my opinion is what needs to be carried and not the myraid of mythical calculations we could uselessly spend our days on.
One little proverb is better than hundred treasures in bush. A happy today is better than wildly optimistic future.
Gann has time and again stressed on the importance of the trader's character. And there is no other book which highlights this view better than Tunnel Thru' the Air.
