Gann Angles series: Gann & Celtic knots

As far geometrical patterns are concerned nothing is as symmetrical, elegant, mysterious and enticing as a Celtic knot. There is something deep inside the pattern that attracts us. Without getting into the details, for a Gann proponent knowing the 'flow' of the Celtic knots - and the "waves" it creates, grants a good intuition on the Gann's broader picture.

An important suggestion here: though it may seem knowing the complex knots and their intricate designs may lend you leverage, but it is not so.

Every complex knot/pattern is a multiple of few simple patterns. IMO understanding these simple patterns, their 'flow' has a lot more advantageous and practical than following all the patterns.

From an esoteric view, this site may have some value. [Frankly, I haven't found the 'best' site or information yet. But then again, you don't need to go deep into this.]

WD Gann - The Truth About Stock Tapes [Book]

The Truth about Stock Tapes is widely regarded as the first halt for any any entusiasts enroute to Gann-mountain. This is one of the books the doesn't have layers and layers of meanings like Tunnel Through The Air, for instance.

If you are to pick up the first introcution of Gann and this outlook of stock markets, then here is where you should start. All the best.

Gann's Permanent Chart for Wheat

A very interesting and very successful chart which Gann termed as Permanent Square 12 Chart for Wheat.

The chart is very simple to read and still most effective in predicting Wheat cycles. There are two inflection and deflection points in this time-series of years. The market cycle for Wheat is roughly 6 years, and hence this chart captures the cycles superbly.

The price relationship among the years also exist but I have not been able to study it for lack of data.

Gann Financial Table [Original]

An analysis by Gann using alternating cycles of 18 and 19 years. It has been able to successfully predict many points on the table, if not all. These cycles are based on cycles of Jupiter and Saturn.

Every original chart of Gann is a wonder in itself.

May Soyabeans chart here is a classic work of Gann Angles. There are many usual things that you will pick up from other writers. But that will not get you far. Apart from the usual, what you must concentrate are the strange looking misplaced lines on periphery.
There are lots of clues in this chart, and this chart alone is enough to tell you how to use Gann Angles.
