Gann Angles series: Gann & Celtic knots

As far geometrical patterns are concerned nothing is as symmetrical, elegant, mysterious and enticing as a Celtic knot. There is something deep inside the pattern that attracts us. Without getting into the details, for a Gann proponent knowing the 'flow' of the Celtic knots - and the "waves" it creates, grants a good intuition on the Gann's broader picture.

An important suggestion here: though it may seem knowing the complex knots and their intricate designs may lend you leverage, but it is not so.

Every complex knot/pattern is a multiple of few simple patterns. IMO understanding these simple patterns, their 'flow' has a lot more advantageous and practical than following all the patterns.

From an esoteric view, this site may have some value. [Frankly, I haven't found the 'best' site or information yet. But then again, you don't need to go deep into this.]

Gann's Square of Nine and Spiral Properties of Prime numbers

The property of prime numbers is a very important concept of Gann's Square of Nine.

The prime spiral has been created in many ways by mathematicians and physicists, using the same or very similar number theories. Though these are not Square of Nine (as known in Gann terminology) their property implies that similar relationship HAS to exist even in Gann's Sqaure of Nine.

Paying for some excellent software is the best investments you can make, however in the field where you are not sure if you will ever understand the concepts let alone have enough confidence to use the theories and its findings in real trading, it is good to go for freeware like Gannalyst Professional 5.0.

Just because it is free, you must not take the credit away from this software, which until recently was paid software. Gannalyst Professional 5.0 is a very good one if you much into angles, levels and such, and not much of a numerologist. The features I like most on this software have much less to do with Gann and more to do with Fibonacci. I think this has some of the best Fibonacci studies there is, in more commonly used software. Gann angle studies are much more robust than other software.

If you do not try this out, you will miss out a lot. Give it a shot, you won’t regret.

Gann Wheel - Software

Among the first software that I used for Gann studies is Gann Wheel. I would recommend this software to Gann Beginners for two main reasons:

1. This software enables beginners to see Gann Squares, Gann Wheels and angles it makes on the chart.

2. It offers a good period of trial version which should enable beginner to understand the nuances of Gann techniques.

It is a very good tool provided you know how to use it, which believe me, is the toughest thing to do. And no two individual on this planet uses it alike!

If you learn how to use Square of Nine, for instance, this is the Only Gann-related software you would ever require.
